Somewhere special to watch a Red Sea sunset – Farsha Mountain Lounge

Possibly the best place to take it easy in Sharm el Sheikh is Farsha Mountain Lounge. Perched on the Um El Sid cliff side, above a beach, it provides wonderful views of the Red Sea.

A good mix of chill out music, variety of cold and hot drinks, sheesha and snack menu including pizza makes this a great spot to watch the scuba diving and snorkeling boats returning from sea as the sun sets, and relax into the night. There is an open seating area with cushions and tables, a Bedouin tent for some romantic seclusion, and an enclosed room for when it gets colder, which still offers a great view. Across from the cafe area is a more formal restaurant, but you can’t beat lazing in the open area for watching the night sky and sea, with the sound of water lapping the shore underscoring the music.
