HAPPY NEW YEAR from NATURE TRAVEL. We wish you all the best for 2013 and hope to share with you a wonderful experience in Egypt.
Whatever is happening elsewhere in Egypt, Sharm does not let the chance for a party go by.
Naama Bay, the center of nightlife where the main streets are lined with restaurants, cafes and clubs, was packed with people for this New Year’s Eve and into the first morning of 2013. Wandering through the streets was entertainment in itself, watching tourists and Egyptians as they ate, drank and smoked sheesha, some dancing, everyone looking happy. There were as many people strolling in the streets as there were filling the venues, joking with friends, admiring those who had dressed up for the night, some even singing.
At midnight some fireworks exploded above the main street, cheered by the crowd, then it was back to eating, drinking and dancing. Many nights of the week and of course for New Year’s Eve, the big clubs have special events with international DJs, fire shows, foam and snow parties, and all the attractions European visitors expect, including tempting menus for New Year’s Eve. Smaller clubs with free entry also filled from early in the evening with dancers enjoying a mix of European and Arabic hits, and Naama remained lively until after 5am. Then the cafes slowly emptied as people reluctantly had their final drinks and said goodbye to friends, welcoming in the first sunrise of 2013.
