90 years ago today – finding of Tutankhamun’s tomb

90 years ago today, Howard Carter and his workers uncovered the steps leading down into a rock-cut structure near the tomb of Ramses VI. These steps led to a tomb now known as KV 62, the tomb of Tutankhamun.
