Passover and Easter wishes for peace from Sinai

360 degree cities  is an amazing website that hosts, as its name suggests, 360 degree views of locations around this wonderful planet.

As many of our readers are entering the season of spiritual remembrance and celebration, with Jewish Passover and Easter weekend (at least for some Christian faiths) beginning today, and because the stories connected to these days are set in our part of the world, we would like to share with you some special places from the 360 site. Wishing you peace, happiness, and time with family and friends.

the Church of St Simeon the Tanner, in Cairo, is carved into the cliffs above the village of the zabbaleen (garbage collectors). It seats 5000 and features biblical scenes carved into the rock.
